Eat: Starbread
I hadn’t tried this until early last year. We had a housewarming to go to and Elliott suggested taking a box of señorita bread. I said ok, not thinking much of it, and we went into the Filipino bakery and asked for a box and some other treats like the malasadas. Since I hadn’t tried one, when we got into the car, Elliott urged me to eat one. I think my eyes may have rolled back into my head, a similar experience that I had when I ate Sidecar Doughnuts for the first time.
If you’re looking for something healthy, don’t go here. But, if you want the most delicious, sweet, buttery bread that’s literally coated in butter, did I mention butter, then you should definitely go here. These little unassuming sticks of bread that look like mediocre breadsticks at an Italian chain restaurant are TO DIE FOR.
Take them to your next potluck. People will love you long time!
