Eat: La Casa De Tono

One of my good friends shared all her CDMX recs and on our last night we made a last minute decision to hop in an Uber and check out one of the famous pozole spots. There are so many things that we all wanted to try in Mexico City (CDMX) but there simply wasn’t enough time. Luckily, we all agreed that pozole had to happen before we left.

La Casa De Tono is one of the most reviewed and most visited pozole spots, plus some locations are open 24 hours so it’s always busy. It’s cheap, fast and delicious. There is a wide variety of families, tourists and late night stragglers making it great for people watching.

If you get to the chance to go, order the pozole (obviously) the broth is delicious and my favorite thing was the abundance of toppings.

And yes, you read the menu right, one bowl will cost you about $3. Doesn’t get much better than that…
